No, I'm not missing it, because they're not Dutch. They're Belgian  . Yes, BeNeLux, that's right. Recommended indeed: good band, Yes-inspired. Good neo-prog (no, this is not a contradictio in terminis

I chose Ayreon, I'm more a 90s guy. The Gathering is a nice alternative ... but that's metal, and from the list I gather that prog metal is not asked for here. Having said that, it's cool that Ayreon is listed anyway

Wot, no 2Unlimited (2Untalented) or DJ Sven?

I'll have to vote for Focus then.

Kayak!

I'm going to see them next tuesday live.

looking forward to it. Only know their last two albums Merlin: Bard of the Unseen and Nostradamus: The Fate of Man, but those are great!

Hi gang.

My pick Earth & Fire.

They made some truly excellent prog with a healthy dose of mellotron.

Did see them warm up for Focus way back and they were much better than them.IMHO.

But I have a weakness for Dutch prog in general. There are a lot of goodies from over there.

Sorry Fandango, didn't want to make you cry . Neo-prog is allright with me. Nothing wrong with it, as far as I'm concerned.

I should have included Egdon Heath, you're quite right. They deserve to be in the poll. There's some great stuff on In The City and Nebula, to name but a few.

Okay, that's one vote for Jaap Mulder and his musical mates, right?

What about Egdon Heath, or aren't you counting Neo-Prog?

I got The Final Experiment by Ayreon a few days ago. While, as should be expected of a band's first album, it was noticeably weaker, I can say now that Ayreon has never put out a bad album.
