Weasels Ripped My Flesh is a particular favourite Zappa album of mine.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

These have very little to do with each other, since one is basically a song-driven record while the other is a weird mix of free jazz and weird Mothers leftovers.
With that said, I'll take the weird one. Why? Because its generally pretty out-there. That and Side 1 of (') is great, but side 2 flounders.

I agree with that. However I'll go with Apostrophe, not a big fan of the experimental/odd Mothers of Invention, though got to admit that Oh No/Orange Country Lumber Truck is awesome, and My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama and Directly from my Heart are classics.

Oddly enough, Weasels was one of the first FZ albums I got my hands on and it was a favorite experience for years. Still, I'm much more likely to listen to (') these days so it gets my vote.

Weasels is way cool, Apostrophe is overrated.

Both are great. Weasels is from very early period, freaky in a manner of late 60-s. I voted for ('), better dated one.

Apostrophe! Weasels is TOO messy and inconsistant (still got some great songs on it. But the album opener is a turn-off )

Like 'em both, in fact almost a draw here. Weasels by a nose.

The deciding factor for me was the song, "Oh No", from WRMF. If this song was absent from the album it would've gone the other way round.

It is too bad that Weasels does not include the great St. Alfonso's and Father O'Blivion. Those are just spectacular songs. But with Weasels ya get a better dose of Ray Collins...Oh No.
