So it doesn't appear on an initial post but does after an edit. Trying an edit with WYSIWYG editor disabled. 'tis ok. |

For a while, this sort of thing had been going on with other people's posts, but I had largely avoided it. However, I think the recent stuff is happening to me also, although I've not posted enough to confirm this. With this post, I'll check to see if it occurs on an initial unedited post. ------------- No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man. |

The first time this happened to me in the past, I could edit out the junk. But when it happened again recently, it took several attempts to remove the junk by editing the post. Edit attempt 1 Edit attempt 2 Edit attempt 3 Edit attempt 4 Edit attempt 5 (last attempt) ------------- No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. Using the Full Reply Editor I think I discovered how to deal with the problem: In editing the post, after removing the junk, cut the entire contents and then paste it back into the box. No, that doesn't work, it just seems random. Another edit... ------------- No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. What has worked for me is (when logged-in) to go to Member Control Panel (near top left of from screen), then click on Forum Preferences, then I clicked on the "No" option for Enable the WYSIWYG post editor before updating the profile.Posted By: MikeEnRegalia
