Four is the years 1974, 1984 and 1994. One vote. Yes 1974 overwhelms the other two years in quantity and quality most would say. But the avant, neo and metal fans out there might be more interested in '84 and '94, who knows?
I need to think about this one.

Of course!

This cd was lent to me by a friend, and it was the very first non-english recording I had heard. I didn't even want to listen to it. So I thought I'd listen to it once just so I could tell him I listened to it. Well, the mellotron, the vocals, the everything, just blew me away. I couldn't believe it. It opened the door for me to check out music world wide, not caring what language they sung in.

I'll go with The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway over L'isola di nient, despite the title track and Via Lumière being so great, and Mirage. I guess this order would work for me today of those I have been into:

1. The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
2. L'isola di niente
3. Mirage
4. Brilliant Trees
5. Starless and Bible Black
6. Uzed
7. Crime of the Century
8. Epilog

My top lists are actually very different for each of these years, but I do like all of the 70s choices. Incidentally, I would have gone with Red had that been the King Crimson choice, but leaving it out might make for a more balanced poll.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Is the wink because lamb is such a popular food in Australia and companion in Tasmania?
