Young Gun Silver Fox is a retro yacht / west-coast rock duo formed in 2012. It is very reminiscent of 70's bands such as Chicago, Hall & Oates, The Doobie Brothers and, of course, Steely Dan. Not really prog, as it is more on the smoother side, but it still sounds pretty good if you ask me!

Yep. I'm a fan, but I haven't payed attention to them lately. So now that I'm reminded of them, I've got their 2022 and 2025 album to look forward to.
If their debut was from 1972 instead of 2015, they would have sold 20 million albums and had a handful of FM radio staples - that we would have been sick hearing of by now:)
It's a good example of why I don't mind retro, as long as it's clearly made out of love. They don't have an important message or anything, but the music speaks for itself. They are having a good time, and it's contagious.
