Blazing Worlds is the collaborative American duo of longtime friends Justin Wright (best known for Expo '70) and Grant Corum (aka The Orchardist; of Lethal Tender and Million Brazilians). The moniker is both a reference to Wright's hero J.G. Ballard and a nod to anthropogenic climate change, which marked the blisteringly hot week in which the duo recorded their first album. Beginning merely as admirers of each other's work, Blazing Worlds came into being after Corum asked Wright if he was familiar with obscure 1970s prog-electronic artist Nik Raicevic, and the two kosmische musik fans set about using analog synthesizers, woodwinds and samples to produce a soundtrack to a conceptual, as-yet-unwritten sci-fi novel.
The project's style is a dark, droning space ambient which leans closer to Expo '70's Ash Ra Tempel-worship at its most abstract. Blazing Worlds' debut, self-titled LP was jointly released in 2023 via Feral Child Records and Wright's own Sonic Meditations label. A sophomore album is supposedly in the works.

Few minutes and I already love it
------------- I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Have you tried logging out and then back in? That's been the simple answer to the problem in years past.

^ Luca can't vote on AP because Mike hasn't added him to the PSIKE team on that site as yet. Try sending him a pm here on PA to ask him to do the necessary.
