Just read in http://www.progarchives.com/Collaborators.asp?id=326 - Fitzcarraldo  review:
"...and the 20'30" rock improvisation (no classical fusion) on the second side of the LP, which I find more enjoyable than the concerto grosso."
 
I always had the impression that the band simply didn't have enough music for the album and, to fill side 2 they played something what came in their minds.
 
What do others think about it?

^Not a lot, judging by the flood of responses you got, NotAProghead. LOL

Well, I'll vote for 'Great improvisation' as you would expect from my review. But, actually, I do much prefer it to the A side of the LP.
