I really enjoy this song, but unfortunetly it is victim to some very harsh talk and judgement.

I don't see how this song is anything but, symphonic, classic, prog, beautiful, and atmospheric.
Alan's voice to me is entered into my ears in rythm's putting me into an hypnotic trance.
The music is stellar.
Every peice is slow, building, with great melodies and really showing how far their creativity has improved now that they finally work together, equally.

Perfect song, please discuss and tell me why you have the emotion that creates your oppinion about the song.

from the heart
Its astart
What we need is awareness we cant get careless
Mental self defensive fitness

I agree with you Rust. It was the first song that I liked the first time I've heard the album. It's very pasive and I feel peaceful when listening to it.

Peacefull is a great way to describe it. Completely natural and peaceful.

I like the studio piece a bit, but I really love the (bootleg) live version of it I have.  They stretch it into a 20+ minute slide-guitar-and-organ jam.  Absolutely gorgeous.

Absolutely beautiful song.  What bootleg do you have, riley?

January 18, 1970.  Alan's Psychedelic breakfast is actually a bonus track on it though, from a show on December 22, 1970.  The quality of the whole show is pretty retched, but it contains some rare cuts like The Violent Sequence (predicessor to Us and Them), The Amazing Pudding (predecessor to Atom Heart Mother), the main theme from More, and Biding My Time.  The January show by itself is fantastic, and the bonus track makes it an essential Floyd boot.  The title it was given to me under was "Biding My Time in Croydon."

It is nice to actually have breakfast while listening to it. The only bad thing about it is how it makes you somewhat sleepy, so you feel tempted to go back to bed. Beautiful Pink Floyd work.

The silly noises turn me off. The song is excellent.

Weakest point of the whole album. It does not work as a song but rather as separated stuff put together...although Im sure thats what they wanted to do, its not near as good as the rest of the album.

I very much like Atom Heart Mother as a whole, including Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast. It is really strange, but I think that's what Floyd was going for. The whole album is very experimental, and I think it's cool.

An excellent song, one of my Pink Floyd favourites !

It's so peaceful and joyful, but it's quite funny to ! Especially the point that Alan chokes on the flakes :D

Anyway, a great song that I really enjoy ! I hope you, too .. !
