Anybody know?

Only prog act I've ever seen was the DT/Yes concert. I'm eager to see more!!!

Nothing that I know of. The only thing that's worth seeing in my area of the US is Satch in Reno (which is quite a drive). I know DT will probably be touring the US within the next year since they have a new album coming out in June.

Don't know where you live but check out the Prog festivals.  Rosfest, Nearfest and CalProg to name three.  This seems to be the best bet at prog concerts in the future.  Protokaw has some midwestern dates in March and April and will do a couple of east coast dates in June.

Cool! Rosfest and Nearfest are really close to me too. Have you been to these before? Do a lot of people show?

Rosfest is happening during a busy time, but Nearfest is definitely a possibility.

Ok, states this summer, year, whatever...

The Mars Volta (perhaps)
Opeth (summer tour already planned)
Dream Theater (perhaps)
Fantomas
Judas Priest & Queensryche
Black Sabbath & Iron Maiden (believed to be Ozzfest)
The Black Crowes (reunion tour)
Porcupine Tree (perhaps)

Peace & take care

I think these prog fests usually have only a few hundred people in attendance, but if I were on the East Coast I would certainly go. Many of the obscure prog bands are as good as the giants, so you're very lucky to be nearby. For some reason, Baltimore has a TON of stuff going on.

One other tip: see every prog tour as many times as you can. I've seen Yes 25 times. I usually see them 2x per tour, but in '04 I saw them 5 times: San Jose, LA, San Diego, and Denver twice. And I regret not going to Vegas. I wish I had gone 5x on every tour.

Prog is rare, so get as much as you can, esp if you're lucky enough to live on the East Coast.

Nearfest has been running for 6 years I think and the arena is a hair over 1000 and it sells out every year.  Rosfest and Calprog are newer festivals that attract about 400-500 people.  There is Prog Day in North Carolina and Baja Fest in Mexico.  You also have a place called the New Jersey Prog house.  They have concerts there all the time here is there link:

Looks like a quiet summer to me, Yes and Rush last year were excellent shows, I'm really scratching my head wondering who to see this summer, just not alot going on.
