So, I'm listening to Ziltoid the Omniscient, and I am curious as to what Devin does as the drums. I know he does everything, which was why I was amazed at the complex drums, but thenI saw it listed as drum programming. Drum programming is the use of a drum machine or drum software to create the drum tracks.
This probably belongs in the Music and Musicians Exchange section  -------------

he used Tomas Haake's (drummer for Meshuggah) "Drumkit from Hell" sound base Haake recorded each and every one of his drums and its available in a box set with a program....I'm pretty sure Devy wouldn't be the type to use the out of the box sounds, so I'm sure he tweaked them a bit -------------
