some of these were just background vocalists, but I added them anyways.

Adrian Belew is beyond compare for me!

Though it's strange considering that I prefer 1969-75 KC albums over their later works.

Adrian's singing is the most versatile and, it seems to me, sincere of all KC vocalists. His voice can "send shivers down my spine" (sorry for trivial words).

When Lake sings about "mankind in the hands of fools" the way he does it sounds a little bit fake to me. (Though he's also a very goos singer, no doubt).

As for Wetton, I don't like his voice that much and others didn't play a significant role in KC.

Greg Lake no doubt about it with John Wetton also getting a thumbs up I think Adrian Belew would probably be the first to admit he ain't no singer

Greg Lake. Second to Wetton, despite the speech impediment. Third probably to Haskell. Boz ain't too bad, but he isn't on the list.

I'll vote for Wetton.

Lake, Belew, and Haskell are all close for second.

Tough one. Lake and Wetton are my favorite vocalists in ANY band. But Lake wins.

KC really had some good singers! Adrian Belew is very good too.

Boz does a fantastic job on Islands, where the hell is he?

I agree with Aaron. Boz should definitly be included because he was one of the five lead vocalists in a king crimson-lineup

Adrian Belew has remained the most consistant vocalist for Crimson for the past two decades...he gets my vote.  Wetton a close second...the rest...no contest for me.  Not a big fan of Greg Lake that's for sure, and I'm surp - no, actually I'm not.

Greg Lake was IMO the best vocalist, though the later incarnations of KC created better music than the stuff GL sang.

John Wetton

Well obviously Greg Lake. Boz is criminally underrated, though. His voice really fit the Islands album, IMO.

Greg Lake!!! With John Wetton as a close second.

Greg Lake. The double tracked voice on the previously unreleased version of Epitaph is awesome!

Greg Lake. Great in both Crimson and ELP.

I always felt that John Wetton fits the KC vocalist bill the best.

Greg Lake is far ahead by now, so why should I vote?!?!?

And why is everyone forgetting Jon Anderson? Lizard is probably his first encounter with prog (The Yes Album was relesaed one year later) and he sings the hell out! Wish he was a KC member for some time!

John Wetton is very good, too, but it's his bass playing (Starless!) what makes him a prominent Crimson member.

Listen to Turkish psych/prog; you won't regret:
Baris Manco,Erkin Koray,Cem Karaca,Mogollar,3 Hürel,Selda,Edip Akbayram,Fikret Kizilok,Ersen (and Dadaslar) (but stick with the '70's, and 'early 80's!)

Greg Lake with Adrian Belew as close second.

Boz Burrell might be my second favorite...curious that he's not included in the poll!? Greg Lake is utterly fantastic, I sure would've liked to hear him on 'Lizard', which is ruined by the vocals. Gordon Haskell is AWWWWWFULLLLL!!!!!!!!

the Wetton-era is my favorite Crimson, but sometimes Wetton sounds a little awkward. Someone above mentioned a speech impediment; I hear an old man with marshmallows in his mouth...only sometimes. He's clearly great at other times ("One More Red Nightmare", "Starless", "the Great Deceiver"). And Belew has loads of character.

Just two words: Greg and Lake. Wetton comes far, far behind (he's quite lame on Larks', better on Starless, good on Red) and the others are not in the same league.

Yeah Greg Lake for me too ... I think Fripp kept getting everyone else (well, the other singer/bassists Haskell, Burrell and Wetton at least) to try and imitate him
