Just finished Mixing this one today and thought i'd share it.

I played all the instruments myself and sequenced the drums using AddictiveDrums

Thoughts and opinions would be appreciated (and apologies for the falsetto vocals, i'm no Jon AndersonWink)

nice cover dude, the tempo in the intro was a little low in my opinion but still sounded great, keep the good work =)

thanks. and yes the tempo thing was a mistake i made early on when i forgot to change from the default 120bpm, i'd already recorded guitar and didn't want to go back and redo, ah well we learn from mistakes

You probably have better guitar chops than Howe at this point. I got used to the tempo about 3 minutes in. Very nice. Though I feel about your vocals like I feel about my own. Work on those. Since you have such a quality instrumental  tracking it would be a perfect exercise for you to keep re-tracking and practicing the vocal harmonies until you are happy with them. The voice is probably the hardest instrument to play... that's why I avoid trying to do them anymore. Other than that it is a quality representation, I wish I had the dedication to cover such a challenging piece.Thumbs Up

thanks for the nice comments. The vocals were definitely difficult and uncomfortable to track, i really enjoy tracking harmony parts but i never feel comfortable doing 1 voiceConfused i used to sing Yes live with my band and thought i sounded quite good, till i saw a video of us performLOL, there is a quite hilarious video of us performing Siberian Khatru on my computer featuring my voice cracking terribly during the line "go no gliDER"Embarrassed
