Just got a cd version of this album with bonus tracks and all, and even if I adore my vinyl copy - this has fast become one of my most played discs, actually much credited to those extra tunes.
Here's my fave of them:

I could go with the Codona 3, Eider Stellaire (one of my favourite Zeuhl albums there), the Amon Duul II, or the Soft Machine. Also like that Schulze very much. and then that is a really fine Kayo Dot album. And it has two of my traditional fave album by Gryphon and Gentle Giant.
That said, I actually do know the one I want to pick and that is Codona 3. I love that album.

Some of the my favourite bands but not my favourite albums by them
I prefer 3 ELP albums over their debut
I prefer 4 GG albums over Aquiring The Taste
I prefer 5 or 6 IQ albums over Dark Matter
I probably should vote PG3 but then I prefer his debut.
I voted ELP but not really sure why. Talk about a confusing poll!

Great to see Eider Stellaire being mentioned so much, and that's probably my favourite but I have to go with The Mars Volta since I spun that one a couple of weeks ago and it blew me away once again.

Queensryche is hardly a good representative for progressive metal, even though O:M is a great album.
BTW, good idea for a poll.
