1 stars Beware of this box set. It is almost a rip off of the original Shakti sound. Whilst John McLaughlin is present there is no similarity to the original music. The music is inept and tediously plods along never reaching the dizzy heights of the original studio albums. This is the kind of music you may hear in a dubious Indian restaurant where not only do you ask the waiter to turn the music down but you probably have to send back the main course!' Lotus feet' is present but not as you would expect it and all the other material is 80% not good at all. I feel that this perhaps was a marketing tool to grab some extra dollars. I am a strong Shakti admirer but any enthusiasts outthere need to be warned that this is extremely poor and should not have seen the light of day.
