4 stars It's funny, while I was passed my Yes, ELP and KC phase with them going on hiatus and buying every fusion album I could find, I never really got into Renaissance until my younger sister bought this album. I was into the more harder edged prog, but I have to say I was impressed by their more high octane performances on this album. They certainly don't miss a beat here.

Now what's even really funny is a few months back, I was talking with an old cousin of mine who's lived in N.Y.C. most her life and somehow Renaissance (or was it just Carnegie Hall?) came up. So she then tells me that she was at one of these shows back in '75! She had been a regular Carnegie Hall goer for decades, whether opera, symphony, rock or whatever. Anyway, she also tells me that the night of the show, HBO in it's infancy broadcasted the show live and repeated it numerous times afterwards. So where are the video tapes?! Probably tossed out! It be a helluva DVD if not.

All in all as live albums go, this one certainly is gem. Nuff said, 4 stars.
