5 stars Incredible effort!!Pat become Prog!! The last work of the PMG is the most audacious and interesting by the 1989,expecially from the album "Letter from Home".Except "Secret Story",that it has much things in common with this album,"The Way Up" is the zenith of creation that a Pat's fan could imagine.Very complex arrangements, often made with the Pikasso acoustic guitar, smooth interludes, cool guitar loops pilotated by the Synthclavier are only the first part of this outstanding pie..but the ice on the cake is the part one of TWU:during 26 minutes, this epic is the present that i signed every christmas on the wish list, and Pat give it to me,not in Christmas, but few later.Listen very carefully, this is one of a kind disc, and more than one,two times, three times,100 times!!Let's Jazz!!
