4 stars I don't own this compilation, however i just couldn't help to notice it. It has the greatest work from Gentle giant from 1970-1974. It is almost four albums in one. "Black cat" from Aquiring the taste, "Prologue" and "Working all day" from Three friends and "Dog's life" from Octopus are missing, but you have all the songs from The power and the glory. The only rip-off is that there is not a single song from In a glass house, which is considered to be their best album, maybe it's the songs that are less commercial. Although i recommend that you try albums like Octopus, In a glass house or Free hand first, this compilation is excellent if your are new to this band and don't want to try any album first.
