YESSONGS (DVD)

This movie is fantastic! I am unsure of any other previous releases, but the DVD release is amazing. I have always been looking to purchase a Yes DVD but they are either from a more recent concert or something other than the original lineup. I was unsure of what to expect when I bought this movie, but having owned the Yessongs album, I was hoping this was footage from that tour. Well my wish had come true. This was Yes period that I had enjoyed most (other than the Relayer tour) and was stunned that some of my favorites were captured during their prime. The only part that disappointed me was that I felt that it was a bit short (running just over an hour), but at the same time, you must be glad that we have this footage at all. In short, the music is amazing, the visuals are very trippy, and this DVD is as essential as it gets. Highly recommended to any early Yes fan.
