5 stars The Prog Messiah cometh! I knew nothing of Peter Jones till I heard, by accident, "Cocoon" a couple of weeks ago. Then I realised he had made this album before his first was even dry. I am certain that he has no idea just how incredible he is. If I was looking for an a truly great singer, lyricist, keyboard player or guitarist, I would want this guy. Yes, he is all of those things. I love "Prog", which us music lovers so fondly call what we all tend to listen to. I don't really like or buy or listen to almost any of the prog that turns up year after year. Mostly because it is all so predictable, planned and a bit boring, even though technically superb. This album is hilarious, moving, powerful and just exactly how I remember the really great music always was. Want a reference? Genesis(up till the end of Hackett), Spock's Beard(Till end of Morse). Add a touch of Disney, Dream Theater and The Godfather and you're 50% there. Not heard anything that can touch this so far this year. Even Steven Wilson didn't match this! NOTE: This has a great sound. No hideous overcompression or limiting here. Average DR is 11.
