4 stars The follow up to Tago mago is a much shorter album no double this time and the songs are allso most of em much shorter almost pop some of em. Well it starts of with the avant gard Pinch the hardest song on the album for me to get into, but its an ok opener altough my least favorite on the album. Sing Swan song starts with the sound of a river or water flowing, and is very beautiful and nice singing from Suzuki, this whole album feels much more relaxed then tago mago, One more night is a bit rockier but not rock it has a nice groovy beat nice and funky. Vitamine C one of the most famus songs on the album i think and its a high light culd easily have been a hit if it not was? Soup is the second long track and its another avant gard song altough beter then pinch this songs actualy rock very nice in some parts and i read that one of the band mebers dont remeber who said it remainded him of led zep when he lisened to it, well it starts rocking then get wierded with some freak out parts at the end. The last 2 song are short and sweet prog pop Im so green is very catchy and Spoon was used in some German TV program as suspence music and its a very nice way to end the album a bit creepy. So not as good as tago mago imo but almost If your a fan of krautrock then this classic is a must and its allso a very good krautrock/Can album to start with easier to get into then tago mago but still far from an easy lisen. 4.5 stars Highly recomended!
