3 stars Jadis is best thought of as adult-oriented rock toying with neo-proggish extended instrumental solo breaks (especially on the guitar), putting catchy melody above gloomy atmospherics, whereas in other neo-prog band it is often the other way around. This is a 3-song EP, released between the first and second albums, but representing earlier material. Follow me to Salzburg is more mellow, nice guitar parts. All in one Day is a typical Jadis track, starting with a nice mysterious intro, and then alternating between more upbeat and more serene sections. Mostly instrumental View from Above starts faster and goes down slower. Jadis' brand of neo-prog is somewhat bland, true, but Gary Chandler's earnest everyman vocal delivery thankfully saves us some of the musical pomposity often associated with neo-prog.
