4 stars This is probably Mike Patton's masterpiece. But be cautious on picking this album, as it is VERY creepy and unusual.

Delirium Cordia is all about having surgery done on you, with cold sound effects in the background. People pick at your organs but they don't know what's wrong, you can hear beeping sounds in the distance, and such. This is a very dark album, unlike any other album ever created, with a lot of ambience. This kind of music is best when lying in bed, because you can really feel what is going on.

Like other reviews said, you may want to start with Director's Cut, but if you think you are up to Delirium Cordia, buy it. It is well worth 74 minutes of your time.
