PHALLUS DEI

There are portions of this album that I really enjoy......the drumming is sometimes inspired.....there are some kool pyschedelic sections...... and this music is truly progressive.....in the sense that there was really nothing quite like it before...... There is nothing all that wrong with this music....I usually enjoy listening to it.....but.....there is nothing on this album that makes me say.....hmmm.... I am in the mood to listen to Phallus Dei ....... There are many many other albums out there that I enjoy a lot more. So...... I guess that means ..... Good but not essential..... to me ...... You may find it essential!
