5 stars I went to London in -81 and entered HMV record store and as I approached this band's compartment I said to myself the first LP I will grab is a collection I've never seen before. I was right. For the first and only time I've seen it. Don't really remember the price tag but probably it was too high for a poor student from Brighton. Of course I would've liked to own it today, sadly I didn't buy it. A double LP issued downunder that is Australia/New Zeeland in harmony with Heep's first tour in this territory. Also bass players Gary Thain's home area.

A lavish and thorough release, both visually and sonically. As far as you can come from a supermarket nice-price best of. Both heart and brain are used in the track choice and running order. One can feel the band's will to pride itself upon Gary Thain's compatriots. 'Stealin' was a huge hit in New Zeeland. All six studio albums are represented. Generous band photos, fruitful layout and comments from keyboardist Ken Hensley. One of the more successful collections of the seventies, partly due to the fact that it doesn't feel like a collection. Rather an additional sound source and imagery to yearn for. Never released on CD and there's little reason for it.
