5 stars I completely agree with other reviews about this MASTERPIECE, one of the most compelling and brilliant piece of anybody's music collection: it takes some listens to catch it. In the beginning, I was a little puzzled, because of its length. But after you become more familiar with it, and you are able to appreciate the different moments of the record, you are thrown in one unmatched musical experience. After this, I've been after all the other records of ECHOLYN, and they are now one of my favorite bands ever, because in my opinion they are delivering the best sounds and productions (so perfectly balanced and highlighted are the different instruments and the beautiful 2-singer vocals). Mellow and harder, simple, rocker or highly symphonic, the variety of ECHOLYN's musical textures are in MEI so performed at the highest levels possible. Yes, this is one of the music works that I would choose to pass to future generations, because of its pure, classical beauty (...but now with the IPods or similar devices it's easier to pass or preserve more music than LPs ;=)). Make yourself a better person, listen to MEI!
