4 stars to loose a precious album from my collection , and not to be able to get it again , is really painfull . I've got Jester from brussels in 1978 , i've discovered it's beauty and excellent moods , at the same time with Flairck's variations on a lady , and Sensation's fix Finest Fingers , i still have the last two in vinyl but lost Jester . Machiavel got the stability to perform excellent songs with singer and wind instr. player Mario Guccio . As i still have only four tracks on cassette since 1978 , i can't be reasonable in reviewing this album for now . but the four tracks are not even close to any Supertramp albums ( in exception for the First album ) and not even to Genesis ( trick ) The style used by Machiavel , specially in Mechanical moonbeams and Jester is more into Prog folk - rock , depending more on special effects , wind instr , and excellent vocals , and the use of Mellotron , tubular bells , flute and 12 strings was fabulous . Please if any of you , fellow proggers , have an access for me to get this album ( Jester ) , don't hesitate to e- mail me with the right info . thanking you in advance . As the four tracks i have deserves this rating ( 4.5 stars ) i'm gonna follow the simple rule in rating this excellent album . Tracks i have so far are = wisdom , Sparkling jaw , mister street fair , and Jester .
