2 stars I can remember how disappointed I got when listened "Au-delà." as it was regarded as Ange masterpiece. In fact it sounded to me only a try to be Genesis French reply. I don´t remind a memorable moment on the album, but I can understand it to please "standard-Genesis-chords" fans.

I really like side one of Ange previous " Le Cemitiére." as it´s pretty original "French wine" music, it shows great expression and inventiveness, they should had keep that spirit, but probably producers pression to get the era fashion trend, made them take the "I know what I like" path.

In the 70´s French scene I indeed love the style and French singing of Atoll, Pulsar, Mémoriance for example. On the so called theatrical French School I prefer much more Mona Lisa "Le petit violon." for example than "Au delà."otherwise I could not be in a good mood the times (more than 5) I tried to like it.
