4 stars Sadly, I am just now discovering this band. On the other hand, it's also great to discover a band you heard of but had never listened to. The Strawbs are another great band who released a lot of good music but for whom the record companies seemingly never cared if the American public knew it or not. This album is a fine mix of progressive English folk-rock containing many religious overtones. Rick Wakeman plays keys on this album and, of course, his playing is awesome. Highlights include: "A Glimpse Of Heaven," "Thirty Days" (great sounding sitar), "The Hangman And The Papist," "Sheep," and the title song. This recording comes highly recommended...I can see myself purchasing many more Strawbs over the next year.
