HINTERLAND

4.5 stars really.... This album is really good! It has similarities to Anekdoten and Anglagard, but there are more keyboards in the mix. There are vocals, but they are pretty few and far between and do not dominate the music. The band's sound may not be groundbreaking, but in my opinion it is not derivative. This band is doing their best to follow in the grand Prog tradition and I think they belong in the conversation with some of the major Prog acts of the newer era. I am curious to see what they wull come up with next time out.
