2 stars The first fully classical AP album with acoustic guitar oriented tracks. Some of them are soft, others quite dynamic. "Beauty and the best" reminds of Gryphon, it has a brillint medieval atmosphere. All tracks are quite melodic. Another standout track is "Harmonium in the dust" that is strongly supported with Harmonium doubled with emotional electric guitar.

"Autumnal" has both melancholic and optimistic sections on the piano so hard to decide which direction to choose ;). "Stranger" is one the better AP's vocal numbers.

"Flamingo" showcases that AP has mastered the acoustic guitar without any doubts. "Silver" is another sung track with a brilliant melody.

An eneven album that does not have much to offer to proggers, though. And not his best acoustic album, look for "Field day".
