3 stars Review #89

Returning from my almost four-month absence, my following review will be about RUSH's ninth studio album. Another not-so-great album in RUSH's discography, "Signals" has even less originality and inspiration than "Moving pictures", the songs are very monotone and predictable. Even so, it has some characteristic songs such as "Subdivisions" and "The analog kid", songs that have become big hits of the band, but honestly, they are not at all indispensable songs.

It's not that this is a bad album; it's just not great either. It's worth giving it a listen once in a while, but it's not an album that someone should have in their collection.

Three stars. No more, no less

SONG RATING: Subdivisions, 4 The analog kid, 4 Chemistry, 4 Digital man, 3 The weapon, 3 New world man, 3 Losing it, 3 Countdown, 3
