5 stars Best Grobschinitt's album to start with, in my opinion. This album is one of my favorites! When I was younger and had more time to spare, I used to lay on my bed and listen to this record just relaxing and dreaming awaken along the songs. There's a taste of nostalgia even on the first listening. The atmosphere is just so magical. Very melodic and at the same time is complex and have a lot of intense themes.

The vocals of Stefan Danielak (Wildschwein) are very passionate and different. Some people might find it annoying, but it's an acquiring taste I guess. I really like the vocals, very original! Gerd-Otto Kühn (Lupo) is responsible for a large part of the greatness of this record. His guitar work is a prog dream, always present and creative. It flows nicely! Volker Kahrs (Mist) creates amazing soundscapes and builds nice interplays between keyboards and the other instruments. Bernhard Uhlemann delivers solid and hipnotic bass lines. Joachim Ehrig (Eroc) does a good job on drums, very rhythmic. And he sings on the humourous first track.

Overall, all the instruments sound great!

Warning: does not listen to the remasters! Find any version with the original recording on his content! The remasters lack in punch, very weak sound. It totally destroys the album. Listen to the originals, please!
