Sadly, this is one of the least popular albums in Frank ZAPPA's discography, it is not only a very interesting recording musically, but also, it is a souvenir of Frank ZAPPA's fight for defending free speech in music and avoiding that ridiculous custom of censorship. The tracklist of this record includes some nice works with the Synclavier in the instrumental pieces "Little beige sambo" and "Aerobics in bondage" while the sung pieces are good but not very interesting musically, the lyrics and the context is what made this album so very important.

The enormous "Porn wars" is excellent both musically and lyrically, it includes some recordings of the ZAPPA legal audiences. Further than that, the album is interesting and entertaining, but not at all indispensable. Just think of it as a historical archive of what ZAPPA was trying to do to save music from absurd labels.

SONG RATING: We're turning again, 3 Alien orifice, 4 Yo cats, 3 What's new in Baltimore? 4 Little beige sambo, 4 Porn wars, 4 Aerobics in bondage, 3

AVERAGE: 3.57

PERCENTAGE: 71.43

ALBUM RATING: 3 stars
