5 stars This is another example of an album that is just so perfect in everyway and doesn't even seem like it was made by humans.

Every song is as memorable, each song has it's own characteristic and any of these songs could have been released as singles.

After their success with Pablo Honey (and the success with Creep), Radiohead composed a selection of more mature music with quite an interesting experimental side.

The result was this album, with some amazing hit singles, amazing chorus and each song an amazing listening experience. And why did they decide to go mental and just start yawning in their late 90's to now material, who knows, but I hope they can see sense and see what a great band they once where.

The first time I had contact with this album was when I leant it out of my local library on tape (I feel like a dinosaur). I then found it in a nick knack shop and got it for a pound. Now if I don't know what's a bargain, then that comes close I feel.

1. Planet Telex - An amazing space like atmosphere surrounds this song. Amazing chorus with an amazing vocal performance from Thom. Apparently this song was written when Thom was drunk.

2. The Bends - The riff that I use to check if my guitar is in tune. Amazing song with another soaring chorus and some weird lyrics.

3. High & Dry - The most pop like song on the album. Very catchy song. If you're wondering, the song is about Evil Kinevil.

4. Fake Plastic Trees - Very relaxing and soothing. Also a very beautiful composition with a lovely organ accompaniment.

5. Bones - The most alternative song on the album with another great chorus. I love the line, "I used to fly like Peter Pan, all the children flew when I touched their hands."

6. (Nice Dream) - The most beautiful song on the album in my opinion. There are quite eccentric moments in it though, which is still quite cool.

7. Just - Very catchy and amazing guitar work present. The video for this song is also really cool, very weird and quite trippy.

8. My Iron Lung - Very melodramatic with a weird chorus and a bridge. Great song with some great instrumentation

9. Bullet Proof..I Wish I Was - The weakest song on the album. I do love the calm atmosphere of the song.

10. Black Star - My favourite song on the album. I love this song so much, because it basically sums up everything I love about the 90's. The most prominent Radiohead song with vocal harmonies. Very powerful.

11. Sulk - I love the key change of the chorus at the end of the song. This song really shows of how much of a great singer Thom was.

12. Street Spirit (Fade Out) - An amazing way to end an amazing album. Reminds me of Massive Attack.

CONCLUSION: Perfection basically. Buy the first 3 Radiohead albums. Then avoid the rest.
