5 stars I'm very glad, that Pain of Salvation once again made "not what their fans want" album. So, without trying to make an album that will sound like their old stuff, this band made something really creative. "Road Salt" influenced by hard-rock, blues, psychedelic rock. No metal at all. Active using of such keyboard instruments like hammond, mellotron and moog adds more seventieths feeling into music. But, despite style changes, it feels that music created in the way that only this Swedish band can do. Every song is a masterpiece on "Road Salt", but here is real gems, like: Sisters, Sleeping Under Stars, Road Salt. A+ -songs: Sisters, Sleeping Under Stars, Road Salt A -songs: She Likes To Hide, Of Dust, Curiosity, Where It Hurts, Innocence B -songs: No Way, Tell Me You Don't Know, Darkness Of Mine, Linoleum
