3 stars I start my review making a safeguard that is based upon the original version (whitout the bonus tracks). In your secound studio albun ELOY-"Inside" the band shows a strong influence of bands like PINK FLOYD, NEKTAR, DEEP PURPLE in their first period (like in "The Book of Talyesin" or "The Shades of Deep Purple"and JETHRO TULL. Having in mind this considerations, you can imagine a song very heavy in many moments intercaleted with a flowing sound ( like in passages on the first track"Land of Nobody" where the hammond organ is the mainly instrument in the "light" passages and the eletric guitar commands the "heavier" riffs). This tendency continues on the second track ( in my opinion the best track in the disk "Inside". In the third track the initial part reminds me JETHRO TULL, wich disembogue in a "nervous" theme" almost latin music with a guitar solo in the vein of SANTANA..The last track "Up and Down" is a beautiful psych-ballad, wich have a middle section very similar to a "Thick as Brick" passage. Besides of I think this is a very good disk, I appreciate much more the sound of ELOY in albuns just as "Floating" and mainly "Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes", where the music of this band seems more mature to me !!! my rate is 3 stars.
