5 stars I had been a big fan of British Prog-rock & Canterbury Scene for years. Rare Bird is a loving band for me. This is their 1st album that I heard & in a country like India, this is a rare band. But, from the very 1st track Beautiful scarlet, they are on ! 2 keyboards are in tandem & vocals, bass & drums are just too good. I liked this CD since the compositions are complex enough & the songs have different movements to shuffle your mood swings. Graham Field's warm organ work will just make you wild.

The other highlights include Iceberg and God of War which are really beautiful. The one thing I'd like evryone to notice is Rare Bird is a keyboard-based prog-rock band who started much before ELP has surfaced. But they never got similar reputation that ELP got. Anyway, this is a 5* album, no doubt. If you don't have it, just go & buy it. I really believe that this CD will enrich your prog-rock collection.
