4 stars The show start with a impressive performance of the complete Whirland cd or song if you prefer. And then when the next song is finish, you realize that the show is at the 100 minutes mark. The next song : "We all Need Some Light" change the pace of the show with a excellent duel of guitar between Neal Morse and Ronnie Stolt. Then the show end with the great song : "Duel with the Devil". There's a lot more to come with the encore on the second DVD and as a bonus we can enjoy Steve Hackett playing with the band the "Return of the Giant Hogweed" on the High Voltage show.

The picture quality and sound are excellent including the extra footage with Steve Hackett, but for those who have a home theater, the 5.1 surround sound doesn't give you much. The sounds coming from the rear speakers are too low and serve mostly to hear the crowd and sometimes the sounds of Daniel Gildenlöw instruments.

The 2 hours documentary is a Behind the scene during the 11 countries tour. This documentary is lead by Neal Morse and Mike Portnoy who are the most extrovert members in the band wich gives some animation in what could have been another very ordinary documentary. But i think that, just to see those great musicians together is special.

And finally after seeing the 20 minutes interview with the band, i can say that there will be another Transatlantic cd in the future.

For those who don't have any DVD of Transatlantic, this is the one to have, despite the 5.1 sound. So, i am giving 4 stars and half.
