Asia's latest release "Silent Nation" is undoubtably the finest album of 2004. While not exactly a "prog" effort, it is nonetheless inventive, imaginative and truly brilliant. A must-buy for all interested in rock music, as well as prog fans who don't mind more straightforward music from time to time. This lineup (Geoff Downes, John Payne, Chris Slade and Guthrie Govan) has been in place longer than any other in Asia's history, and they are also the tightest.
