3 stars This album never was my favorite. There are some nice moments here, but mostly I don't really like it. Here's why:

The stoner-part, with smoking marihuana never really touched me. I'm not a smoker and I experience music on an other level. So no stoner-music for me.

The production is really a let down. Eloy always had the best produced records. Floating and Inside have a live-feel, rally in your face, And Dawn and Ocean (and so on) were really tightly mixed, they have a feel of urgency and all the instruments blend perfectly. Power and the Passion sounds dull, uninspired and more like a demo than a full album. You can hear the musicians are all experienced, but it's not enough.

I always forget this album, because I like Dawn/Ocean and Inside/Floating so much better. In that light, this album can be seen as a sort of transitional album,.
