2 stars Today I got 2 new "Ghost" CDs, the first one was Anthony Phillips Geese and the Ghost, the other one was the new Arena, Peppers Ghost. After listening to them two times each, I prefered the Phillips Ghost a lot. In my opion Peppers Ghost is the worst CD Arena ever did, it sounds if Nolan & Co lost their ideas or spended them all too much on their solo projects. Itīs even hard to find some prog elements, itīs more like one of hundreds or so other rock albums with some prog elements. Itīs very lightweighted, in some tunes (like Shattered room) even wannabe hard... Maybe, Arena had found a ghost, but he might have lost the pepper Arena needed so badly while recording this album.
