3 stars The two side of Yes, Howe's Yes and Rabin's Yes in one album? great idea but not good final result. Squire not plays with Howe's Yes andthis is replaced by Tony Levin also if sung 3 songs. These songs (of Howe's yes) are 9 and there are the 2nd ABWH album (i.e. Yes without Yes monicker because of Squire opposition) and these song not have typical Yessound, also if have good Yes spirit. Rick Wakeman not have great parts and also Bill Bruford not plays with Jazz style also in 70's. For the rest there are good songs. "Masquerade is a good solo Steve Howe song. "Lift Me Up", "saving My Heart", "Miracle Of Life" and "The Move We Live- Let Go" are plated by "90125" line-up of Yes. These songs are more New ave that the other songs but the final result is not inferior to 70's Yes line-up songs.

The problem is that in "Union" are not present a song with a mix line-up or songs of 70's line- up with the spirit of "90125" or vice versa. This fact are not good, for me. Also if Yes are not King Crimson the expedient of the two line-ups could be better exploited. Also because "Union" is an album that could have opened a number of really interesting developments. Throwing away an opportunity.
