3 stars Kromlech is a mexican band that plays some sort of instrumental progressive rock, you might call it art rock or symphonic. However, I cannot really define their music. It's something between art rock, symphonic prog and folk prog. Anyway, Kromlech fails to provide the listener with their instrumental album. Their technique isn't really good, and aren't very interesting. Do not get me wrong, it's certainly not rubbish, but it's also nothing special. In addition, I'd like to say that I cannot think of any similiar band to Kromlech, although their sound isn't unique. When I listen to them I cannot say to my self "I haven't heard anything like this before". Moreover, the production has some minor defects. In short, there are other good south american bands to be checked out before this band.
