5 stars I was amazed this record was rated as highly as it is, to be rated ahead of foxtrot for an example, peaked my interest, and since the record is nearly 20 years old, and has been well reviewed, i thought i would take the plunge, After 2 listens, I can honestly say this is not over hyped, though with it's flaws, the production, even the remastered disc, has some soft to loud issues, i had to adjust volume a few times, also i detect a tad of neo prog hair metal in this from time to time, the lead guitar especially. The opening track is worth the price of the disc, just wonderful Crimson like sounds, The flute is simply gorgeous through out, I was pleased this wasn't a metal record, hard rock yes, but varied and all the influences come through, some times that doesnt work, but it does here, and never seems like a Genesis or crimson Knock off. The fact i replayed this immediately tells me 5 stars is in order, Typically anything less, I would have it up for auction, This is a keeper. and while 13th seems high on this list, top 100 for sure.
