DEMONS AND WIZARDS

The middle section of the wonderful trifecta of LOOK AT YOURSELF, DEMONS AND WIZARDS, and THE MAGICIANS BIRTHDAY. All 3 getting 4 star ratings from me. (Hard to give 5 stars to any as they are not perfect, just excellent). The entire first side is made up of some of the best work I have heard out of Heep. From "The Wizard" to "Circle of Hands" is pure perfection, only marred by the lesser "Rainbow Demon" which is more in the style of future, harder Uriah Heep tunes. And, of course, the ending "Paradise/The Spell, are classics. In total, a one of the pinnacles of "Hard-Prog". ( I don't have the remastered edition with bonus tracks, so this review is based on the original album/CD). A solid 4 stars.
