5 stars Countless reviewers have already said it on this site. This is a masterpiece and Genesis were around their creative peak here. I tend to find that the unusual shifts and signatures make this the most moody of their albums.

I love the medieval theme, especially with the mythological opener "Dancing With The Moonlight Knight". The flute and oboe tickles are wonderful. In fact, all of the performances are as tight and polished as ever. Everything is great. A personal favourite is "Firth Of Fifth" with Bank's classically inspired piano and Hacket's amazing guitar work.

The centerpiece of side two is definitely "Cinema Show", although the most eccentric "The Battle Of Epping Forest" is at least musically, quite superb. All I can say is, just give it plenty of listens.

This should be in your progressive rock collection! 5 stars.
