5 stars 'Masque' came out at the same year of 'Song For America'. Honestly, to qualify a masterpiece such as their second album is quite a difficult task, but Kansas managed to do it just fine! This is probably one of their most varied albums. The songs here divided into two types: You got the short catchy tunes and the long progressive epics.

Song like 'Child Of Innocence' and 'Two Cents Worth' are just catchy and so lively that you will hit the repeat button again and again. 'Icarus-Borne On Wings Of Steel' is one of the most exciting tracks in progressive rock. Heavy metal riffs with melodic synths and the high soaring vocals of Steve Walsh, makes this song a blazing masterpiece. Truly a genius masterpiece, get this album immediately.
