1 stars After hearing 'The Six Wives of Henry VIII', this came down as a huge disappointment. The composition itself is ridiculously naive and cheesy, and the execution, apart from Wakeman himself (though most of his synth work here makes me cringe), the orchestra and the choir, leaves a lot to be desired (and that's an understatement, the two singers sound awful, one of them being the lead singer of Warhorse and the other from Wild Turkey, and the band sounds like a mediocre Yes tribute). I must also mention David Hemmings for managing to pull off the most embarrassing thing in this whole piece, which is reading the English translation of the book aloud (!).

A bad idea made into a very bad composition which maybe would be worth two stars if Wakeman hadn't showed us that he could do better. Only for completionists.
