THE BIG RED SPARK

When I first heard this album I have to admit, I hated it. The narration was a nice idea, but overdone to the point of being annoying. But then after a few plays I have to admit that it's grown on me immensly. The stand out track for me is 'Rainland', which starts with a great tribal rhythm and screaming wah guitar. Ther title track itself is also very strong. The overall sound of the album is quite slick and modern, and nicely produced. I suggest that if you buy this album, give it a few plays, because I'm sure it'll grow on you as it did me.
