4 stars A real beauty that will sadly never gain much recognition simply because of the band's obscurity and how hard the record is to find.

The music here brings to mind some of the epic moments of GY!BE with it's extreme passages of bombastic rock resembling an orchestra. This music however, contains a bit of roughness around the edges that is nonetheless a pleasant but somewhat raw listen. The use of strings is pretty lovely all through the album, graceful melodies floating around an apocalyptic post-rock sound.

I really enjoy the way it flows as well, there's never really a dull moment and this is an extremely solid record that deserves way more recognition than it gets. I heartily recommend it to post-rock fans and partially recommend it to more adventurous prog fans.

It's not a bad idea to give it a shot!

4 solid precious precious silver and gold stars.
